Festival de Cine de Madrid–PNR: a €3.50 double bill

Thirty-fifth edition of the new-directors festival: an opening gala at the Teatro Círculo de Bellas Artes, then competition screenings at Cineteca Madrid and Sala Berlanga.

The thirty-fifth edition opens on the Monday at the Teatro Círculo de Bellas Artes, hosted by the director and actress Eva Gamallo, with the festival’s honour tribute to Miguel Rellán. Competition then splits across the city: Cineteca Madrid runs 15–20 September in Sala Azcona and Sala Borau, Sala Berlanga 15–19, with sessions at 18h and 20h on C/ Andrés Mellado 53.

Berlanga tickets are €3.50, on sale from September at the box office and through entradas.com. Zona Industria, in its fourth edition, runs 15–18 September at DAMA Autor and SGAE: the festival’s professional space for meetings between filmmakers and industry representatives.
