The Arc: two days at Longchamp, and Saturday is the one

A full card of Group races in the Bois de Boulogne, themed Festival des Nations — with a Saturday card that includes the Qatar Prix du Cadran and the Qatar Prix de Royallieu, both Group 1.

Saturday 3 October opens the gates around midday and runs to 20:30, with the Qatar Prix Chaudenay, Prix Daniel Wildenstein and Prix Dollar, then the Group 1 Prix de Royallieu and Prix du Cadran. Sunday 4 October is Arc day: a full programme of Group races building to the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe itself. The weekend runs 18 races, including 10 Group 1s, with the Arc off at 4.05pm.

Tickets are tiered — Arc Village and general entry at the low end, then the Winning Post Gold Enclosure and the Summit of the Arc, with the Winning Post Gold Stand’s numbered seats — a two-day pass from €300 — above them; the Panorama restaurant and the Prestige lounges are sold as hospitality by France Galop. Prices start at €15 for the Arc Village and €20 for general entry, subject to availability. The racecourse is inside the 16th; free shuttles to Porte Maillot and Porte d’Auteuil leave the racecourse until 9.30pm on Saturday and 10pm on Sunday.
